Your vote matters in Illinois-and you can register three easy ways...
Save time by applying to register to vote while you apply for or renew your driver's licenses at your driver services facility, or when you're applying for public assistance at state or township offices.
Call your voter registration office for a form or ask them where you can pick up one in your new community. All forms must be originals. Copies and internet forms are not accepted.

You must notify the department of driver services of your new address in writing or by visiting a driver services facility.

When the department of driver services has your current address, you will be sure to receive important driver's license and registration renewal notices.

You may also visit a driver services facility to change your address. There is no fee for the change; however, if you wish to have a new driver's license with your new address on it, there is a $5 fee.
Residents holding a valid commercial driver's license must obtain a new license within 30 days of moving.
State law requires that drivers and front seat passengers 6 and older wear seat belts. Children younger than 4 must be properly secured in a proved child safety seat. Children 4 and 5 years old may be secured in safety seats or seat belts.
All motor vehicles registered and operated in Illinois must have liability insurance to cover the property damage and/or injuries that may occur during an accident.
You can register to vote at any driver services facility.
When you visit a driver services facility, you will be asked if you would like to join the Organ/Tissue Donor Registry, a data base that documents your desire to be a donor.
