Through the CCCC, we have developed a "sister church" relationship with the Evangelical Congregational Church in Sliven, Bulgaria. We provide mutual prayer, support and encouragement for one another, and have developed a personal connection with fellow believers in another part of the world. We are especially excited about their evangelism and church planting efforts, taking the Gospel to surrounding villages and starting small "daughter" churches. Members of the Sliven church go out each week to teach, minister to the village people, and lead worship services in both Bulgarian and Gypsy villages. The elderly and Gypsies are in dire need of medical care and in some villages, the power of prayer is their only medical means. We hope to help them set up a consistent medical program so they can hire a nurse and purchase medicines to care for these people. With the challenges of their passion for the Lord and the examples of their amazing outreach and evangelism ministries, we hope to follow their examples and learn from their experiences!
